DANVILLE, Pa. – Sept. 9, 2005 –Papalia Financial Services has named three people to join its office in Danville, Pa. Ned Shanahan joins Papalia Financial as chief compliance officer, Robert Parks joins as advanced planning director, and Jennifer Satteson as insurance administrator.
"We are happy to have all three of these talented individuals join the Papalia team," said Mark Papalia, president and founder. "Ned’s depth of experience and knowledge gained from his more than 20 years of working in the corporate securities field will be a great asset to our firm. In addition, Bob and Jennifer have extensive backgrounds in financial planning and insurance services that will greatly benefit our existing clients and enhance the services we offer to them." Shanahan will be responsible for all aspects of compliance with federal and state regulations within the firm and advise senior management regarding regulatory issues and requirements. He previously served as chief compliance officer for SAFECO Investment Services in As the director of advanced planning, Parks will oversee the firm’s comprehensive and modular wealth plans for high net-worth individuals and families. A graduate of The American College in Satteson, a native of West Milton, Pa., will fulfill all aspects of the firm’s insurance underwriting process, service its existing in-force policies, and contribute to new business ventures, including assisting with insurance product analysis and creating new client proposals. She holds a life and annuities license in the Commonwealth. Before joining Papalia Financial Services, Satteson worked at The Insurance Shop and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. |
