DANVILLE, Pa.—Aug. 30, 2005—Papalia Retirement Plan Services, Inc., a division of Papalia Financial Services headquartered in Danville, Pa., has acquired the assets of Benefits Consulting Associates, Inc. of Phoenixville, Pa. Papalia Retirement Plan Services is a full-service retirement plan administration firm, specializing in pension plan consulting for small- to medium-size business owners. In addition, Papalia Retirement offers a full-service investment advisory platform to all plan participants through its affiliate Papalia Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor established under the Investment Advisors Act of 1940. Prior to its joining with Papalia Retirement, Benefit Consulting Associates, Inc., owned and operated by Jeanne T. Schanzenbach, was also a full-service retirement plan administration firm. The new Phoenixville office is located at 1288 Valley Forge Rd., Suite 91. A member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), she has attained the designations of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and teaches a preparatory course for ASPPA’s DC-1 exam candidates. Schanzenbach holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Drexel University.
