Ned Shanahan

Chief Operating Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer

Ned Shanahan is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is a Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional. He previously served as a member of the legal department at Ragen MacKenzie Inc., a full service broker-dealer which also cleared for other firms, then worked for Wells Fargo Investments, LLC, and most recently as chief compliance officer for SAFECO Investment Services, Inc. in Redmond, Washington.

Mr. Shanahan works with other team members to assist client legal counsel in the preparation of estate planning and business succession documentation. He is responsible for all aspects of compliance within the firm, and also manages all operations including information technology and human resources.

A native of California, Mr. Shanahan earned his bachelor’s degree (B.A., 1983) from the University of Southern California, his law degree (J.D., 1990) from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. He and his wife homeschool their five children.
